Had an older model of this phone for 6 years. Worked perfectly. Simple text and call phone, no data plan required. Old phone survived being dropped, sat on, and even went through the washer AND dryer and kept on working fine. I can go three days between battery charges, but I don't use my phone to call or text every day like most people do. I do however have it on at all times. Exactly what I want and need. When the battery would no longer charge on my older model, it didn't seem worth buying a new battery for a phone that was almost 7 years old..... and the phone was old enough that I could not get text messages from my friends who had iPhones. Their messages showed up as gibberish. So time to upgrade to the newer model! I wasn't disappointed. Same great battery life, small profile, easy to use number and letter keys for texting and calling, great sound quality, and no expensive data plan required. If you are looking for an extremely slide phone just for texting and calling, this phone is a great deal.
