Not worth the money
0 of 2 found this helpful Well, this is the first of the new breed of hi-tech coolers I have purchased and tried out. I don't have any other of this type of cooler to compare it to; but, in comparison to the older models, it definitely kept ice longer by a day or two, but is that really worth the extra expense? That's a question you would have to answer for yourself. I like the quality of the components, i.e. the feet, handles, hinges, drain plug, etc. But it sure is an awful lot of money to spend on a cooler. I did pre-chill it, used a combination of ice blocks and cubes and kept it pretty full. Loaded it on a Monday, by Thursday everything was melted.
