Guitar-amp, ham-radio, audio tubes work fine.
As an engineer, reviewed specs and compared to "original" Chinese 6J2 tubes -- which had 50% failure rate after a few months. So pulled those and installed these and got perfectly fine results from the low-power stereo amplifier kit I built. Read lots of opinions on the 5654/6AK5's and thought they're worth a try; proves some naysayers wrong, IMHO since they are a basic pentode capable of working fine with low plate voltages.

OMEGA HH12 Thermocouple Meter is good buy, works, accurate.
Having used similar hand-held Type K thermocouple meters, this product works well and is easy to use. Tests out fine with good match to other meters.

Good terminal crimper for Red through Yellow terminals
Not many crimpers handle the heavier YELLOW terminals. This one does OK.
