2004 game with a lot of bugs on a 2008 computer
I have played all the previous Myst games more or less as they came out but took an extended, multi year break before buying URU. At the moment I have given up on making it work on my 2008 computer. It didn't work right out of the box and I spent a lot of time on the internet to find the solution and did eventually make it playable. I completed level one and then it froze on me in level two.
I like the avatar interface but unlike previous Mysts games there isn't a zip mode to move through the game space you have already traversed so if you have to go back some where it is tedious.
Perhaps I'll try it again this winter when there is too much snow outside to do anything else but play games inside.

Didn't work for me
This might have been a fine keypad but my alarm system didn't recognize it and online programming instructions were beyon my skill level.

Excellent recording, But...
I’m in love with Samantha Fish music she is a dynamic axe player and the cd is a terrific early work. Here’s the But, track 8 was damaged and ends abruptly at the worst possible time. I deleted that track from the play list so I don’t get annoyed with hearing her suddenly end in the middle of a awesome solo.
