Oil was in the saw when it shipped and it must have been thrown around during shipping so there was a layer of oil covering the box contents. After cleaning everything, I could tell it was a good product. Bar is slightly bent but still works great! Price was great--seller accepted offers, shipping was fast and we love our Greenworks 40v products! This saw isn't as powerful as the the gen1 16" saw we just bought but is very lightweight &will be great complementary saw for branches and most cuts.
