The thin box containing the filter was crushed and slightly bent. The bubblewrap was not sufficient to protect filter. I was able to get the filter back into reasonable shape where I think it will work OK. I suggest you use a rigid box rather than a bag, or at least mark the bag do not crush/bend etc.
