Not ham band ready
On the surface looks like a great triband ham radio antenna. Actual performance is so so. The description is 100% accurate on the frequencies. And thats the problem. Its works great on 440 MHz which a wide band width. On 220 it does not adjust into the US ham band, pretty much 245 give or take 2 MHz. 144 is very narrow, about 146 its 3 to 1 or higher. Thumbs down as a US ham triband. Spend the big bucks and buy a quality name brand antenna.

Penn History Repeats Itself
This replaced my previous Penn open face from 50 years ago. Old one finally gave out and needed to retire. Wish I’d done this soon. Took to Texas coast within two days loaded with 50lbs Pro-line for surf fishing. Quick to adjust to my throwing style and rig, smooth precise operation, was catching the big ones in no time. Love love love it. Might have to buy the Penn 50LW as a spare for future offshore adventures. Great Penn quality!
