Decent 17.3 inch laptop if you get it for the right price.
For an entry-level laptop, this is a very decent model.
Core i3 is enough processing power for surfing, downloading etc. If you want to use games, you'll need to fork out a bit more.
17 inch screen gives a good quality image. I do miss my old MSI CR720 'chic-lit' keyboard.
The big drawback - and the designers were quite dumb in doing this - is the keyboard colour.
The keys are grey with a darker grey letter colouring. In some circumstances and depending on the angle you are sitting, the key lettering 'disappears'.
As of Jan 2022 this is being advertised for ca. £520. In Oct 2021 it was ca. £420 and on Ebay there was a voucher discount up to a maximum of £75, taking my price down to £350.
In those circumstances it was a bargain. I had my previous MSI laptop for 11 years and I kind of view this purchase as a 'stop-gap' until I get more funds where I would go for a higher level Asus.
I think I'm getting used to it a bit more. The build quality does feel a little 'economical' (I hesitate to use the word 'cheap').
Unfortunately, for some, the i3 processing power and the keyboard colouring mean that you'll need to up your budget.
For the right price (£350-£450) this is a bargain for what you get. I would not pay over £500 for this model. I would either compromise and get a smaller 15.6 screen or save up a little longer for the 17.3 inch screen.

Good if used with the serum
As I'm 58, I use the Restore and Renew serum, however I still use the Protect and Perfect day and night cream for men. The cream is lighter and in a more user-friendly dispenser whereas the comparable Restore and Renew is thicker and in a jar.

Bought as a kind of joke for a Slovak ESL student
Bought as a kind of joke for a Slovak ESL student of mine, so not a typical purchase.
