2007 Lexus IS350 Trunk Shocks a Perfect Fit

My 13-year old 2007 Lexus IS350 trunk shocks were worn would not keep it from slamming closed. I read some reviews of aftermarket shocks and people had trouble fitting, making noise when closing, or being too strong. These parts were exactly the same factory parts as the original ones that I removed that came in sealed bags. They were pretty easy to replace, but you do need to remove the trunk liner and pry off old shock retaining rings to remove the worn ones. Installation of the new ones is an easy snap-in. It helps to temporarily remove the rubber trunk stops to allow the trunk to open slightly more to install the new shocks. Caution: Replace one at a time and use a taped-up vice-grip or clamp to keep the shock from compressing with the weight of the trunk and falling on your head when you remove one. The trunk lid (with F-sport spoiler) now does not slam closed and will hold open in any intermediate position.

Great value/performance in a Tektronix scope probe

Nice 200MHz Tektronix probe. It came new in a sealed bag with instruction manual and all accessories included. It has the extra pin for automatically switching to 10x probe setting on Tektronix scopes.
