under appreciated for sure...
If you approach this movie as a Drama with dry wit and subtle humor...you will really enjoy it...The story line and morals are really touching...The conclusions and lessons very deep.
You really felt for these characters quests for wisdom and closure.
The problem was that they pitched it as a straight comedy...so, people rejected it because the humor was very subtle and campy...I strongly suggest you re-vist The Life aquatic with a different mindset...you will be plesantly surprised.

Really bad
1 of 3 found this helpful My friend lives on a boat and had a old classic guitar on the deck of his boat out in the elements for a month.
I said to bring it inside and I'd change the strings and clean it up for him.
I bought D'Luca strings and put them on the guitar.
The years old strings that got exposed to sun, cold and wet sounded better than a new set of D'Lucas...:(
Totally flat and void of volume, I've played them for hours and they are STILL stretching and going out of tune.
You get what you paid for. lol

NOT capable of holding an actual mic
This mic stand should be called a sheet holder and not a mic stand, as it cannot support the weight of a real microphone.
Perhaps one of the dollar store karaoke mics, but I have a normal size SM58 and if flops over like an old man that forgot his Viagra.
I had to wrap the stand in duct tape to be stiff enough to support the mic and I have to tape the base to the table to get it to not tip over.
The base needs needs to be wider and heavier to actually hold a microphone.
It is now a running joke on our podcast.
