Safari Armax Snorkel for Ford Ranger's
I installed this snorkel myself with a great final outcome.
Safari Armax have obviously put a great deal of development work into this snorkel and the necessary fittings .
Everything fitted as it should and the end result is outstanding.
The only negative in the experience was the print quality of the instruction sheets.
Step 26 which involves taping the inlet hose to slide it through the inner guard has photos that are so dark its impossible to see what they are asking you to do.
Step 3a and 3b talk about the PX-1 and PX-2 templates.
There are two templates supplied in the kit but they are not labeled PX-1 or PX-2 but carry a part number which is meaningless to the novice installer.
It must be said that when I called Safari on several occasions to clarify issues, they could not have been more helpful.
An excellent product backed by a supportive business, you won't be dissapointed.
