Better than the blood test

My young dog developed severe allergies after a vaccine reaction. She was treated with cyptopoint and apoquel. I was concerned for her overall health and staying on allergy drugs at such a young age. The veterianarion did blood work for allergy testing.. She came up allergic to only ONE thing on this blood test. Corm Pollen. Unfortunately these injections don't last long for her. I was concerned as the blood allergy test did nothing for my dog's allergy problem. I was reading a natural health article for dogs and the articale mentioned the DNA hair strand test. So I ordered this test. At my dog's next vet visit for another shot to control her scratching, I told the vet I ordered the DNA hair strand test. The vet scoffed and said I wasted my money. I got the test results and it seems she was allergic to everything in her dog food.This test was 100% most helpful to diagnosis my dog's allergy problem. I found a food that was more suitable for her and her excessive itching and odor has all gone. So this dna hair strand test was not a waste of my money. I can't believe the vet scoffed at it. So my dog is now off the cytopoint injections and apoquel and she is doing great since she is eating a dog food she is not allergic too!!!!!!
