Memories of a pre-industrial hand-tool workshop.
A glimpse into the day-to-day activities of a 19thC Wheelwright's workshop, plus musings on life, the universe etc. Very well-written and interesting on many levels, from physical to philosophical.
I was alerted to this book by a real wheelwright in Montana, who gained a lot of insight by reading it 25 years ago.

Idiot-proof measurement
Nice analogue scale, easy-to-read dial. My only quibbles are there is no depth gauge, like on other models, and it would be handy to have a better Imperial scale, rather than just inch graduations.
But a very cheap, handy and accurate gauge.

Good quality, real Mother of Pearl tiles.
Real Mother-of-Pearl tiles, good quality finish on a flexible mesh backing. I only need the individual tiles for a non-bathroom project, but the dimensional accuracy is very good, which is what was important; that and the colour consistency.
