NIB SIGTAC FX3PB Pterodactyl USA 8.25" Knife N690C G10 Handles SIGARMS Sig Sauer
Feb 08, 2018
Discontinued Sig Tac pterodactyl knife made by Fox knives Italy Excellent quality.
These days I usually look for flipper knives as they are fast and easy to open. I came across this knife by chance on EBay and never realized that Sig had a brand of knives. I watched it for a while and decided to look it up and see what it sold for when it was in production. When I found out Fox of Italy had made the knives for Sig I decided to buy it and I’m glad I did. Even though it doesn’t have a flipper it is surprisingly easy to open and locks in place very well. The blade is from what I gather coated with the same coating that Cold Steel uses DLC. The N690co blade is recurved which makes fighting cuts a lot more deadly if used as a combat knife. The G10 scales are just as I like them real rough, not small checkers like in some benchmade or Zero Tolerance puts on their folders. I paid less than retail for the knife from a collector that bought it left, left it in its box until I bought it. So by all means the knife is new. Some of the other features are a very tough pocket clip made of heavy spring steel, an opening button that is totally out of the way of the cutting edge as it should be and a lanyard hole to tie it on your gear if you like. Knife came razor sharp and the G10 covered handle is very ergonomic, fits my hand perfect in either fighting position. Round out cut for your thumb makes it a very positive grip. All in all a sweet addition to my collection of combat and tactical knives. I can’t find anything that displeases me about the knife. Fox made a winner for Sig and am sorry Sig stopped carrying them, but I’m glad I got one . LOL Bonedaddy
Browning Shock N' Awe Tomahawk BR110BL Black Label Series. One-piece 1055 tool s

Little axe big might!
Brownings shock and awe is just that on a smaller scale. Even though it's a smaller size it is heavy and stout. Right out of the box it took the hair off my arm. A very sharp blade. But the neatest thing is the sheath, a polymer of course with some of the ingenious belt and web gear attachments I've ever seen. The ways to mount this tiny axe are endless. I like the smaller size as it's of course less weight than it's big brother shock and awesome. All in all this is the perfect size for the camper backpacker or outdoorsmen that wants a quality axe in a smaller size. BONEDADDY gives it a five thumbs up!
Browning Black Label Shadowfax Tactical Defense Outdoor Knife G10 Hdl 190BL

Excellent quality for your dollar!
Although this knife is made in Taiwan I don’t think old John Moses Browning would role over in his grave if he saw the quality and finish of this knife. The blade is beautiful tan coated 440c steel 3/16th thick with overall length of 9 inches. The tan G10 scales are flawless in fit and finish. The hilt and pommel match the blade perfectly and the ergonomics of the grip are right on for small and medium hands. It comes with a polypropylene vacuum molded sheath, that’s a pretty tight fit. It has a unique catch system that incorporates a button you push that spreads the sheath slightly to release the hilt. The knife came very sharp but with all new knives they need a slight touch up. Four strokes on a ceramic rod and four strokes on a strop and the knife is a razor. Popping the hairs off my arm with the slightest of pressure. All in all this is spectacular little recurve EDC carry knife or backup knife to you big un you carry camping or on tactical excursions. Quality, finish, ergonomics and price all 5 stars in my book.
