Great Doll Wig Brush
I have bought two of these, since the original one is currently among the missing. The brush does a wonderful job of maintaining and controlling curl on a doll wig without being harsh or rough. A couple of wigs I thought were unsalvageable turned out to be quite lovely once washed, re-curled, re-styled, and brushed with my little brush. I purchased one doll "for salvage" where the owner claimed the doll's human hair wig was hopeless. It is now beautiful and suits the doll to a T, and I did little else but brush and re-style it.

Love this pin/necklace! The Marcasite head, arms, and tail beautifully offset the mother of pearl "turtle shell" I wear it as a pendant rather than as a pin, because that is just simply my style, but it would make a beautiful lapel pin for those who wear jackets or who like pins on coats. It is more of a winter piece than summer because it is heavy and works particularly well with sweaters. It is a true conversation piece and it is different from most pendants - people always admire it. I am a turtle lover and wear it proudly.

I Still Can't Believe It's Mine!
I already had a very loved E-Series van that was getting old, and we had been looking around for a new one. Ford conversion vans are very reliable, very comfortable, and extremely well-built. We had planned to get another one next year, however - to keep saving up for it - because they are quite expensive. Regardless, I kept looking around the web, and one day just for fun googled Ford conversion vans. Up popped this one with a price I could not say "no" to, and it is loaded with features we never could have otherwise afforded. I look at it now on the parking lot or in my driveway and still can't believe it is mine! It is very pretty; light tan, with swirling embellishments on the striping. The windows are shorter in depth, but longer in length than those in my old van, making the new one appear much sleeker. I sit up higher in this, which I love. It is also roomier since the entire van is longer, so there is more leg room and increased cargo space. However, I have also noticed that the aisle space between the seats is narrower, so it is more difficult to walk between them. There are many pockets for belongings which are either zippered and neat, or reinforced with netting to keep them well in place. There are cupholders everywhere. The dashboard is gorgeous, with imitation burled wood, and touches of this material are found in the headers over the windows, as well. There are privacy shades on all windows except the front. The back window on this van is stationary, which I regret. The back window opened in my other van, allowing back-seat passengers the option of fresh air as opposed to AC.
This Ford is equipped with SYNC and Sirius satellite radio. I don't have an opinion about the Sirius; I have a regular non-satellite station I like listening to, so I do not use the satellite radio. I do, however, use the SYNC, since in my state you cannot drive while talking on the phone or texting. The SYNC works most of the time. I think I enunciate very well; however, the SYNC voice sometimes misreads my voice commands and attempts some different number or action than I intended. Sometimes I answer a call and it hangs up instead. However, it is a great feature, enabling me to talk hands-free. The navigational part of SYNC is voice-only, though, so I still use my little portable GPS and follow the little blue car on its raspberry road, as I prefer the visual and auditory aids together.
I love the daytime running lights and just keep that switch on all the time as they automatically turn off after about a half-minute after locking the van with the remote. The van is also equipped with an alarm system, so when I press my remote, it is also armed. It will also start remotely. I have not yet used that feature.
I am so very pleased with my van! The previous owner had not even put 5000 miles on it and had treated the van tenderly and lovingly. It still even smells new! Everyone remarks on the beauty of this van, and I am so very thankful that I accidentally stumbled onto eBay Motors! We will make that our first stop the next time we are in the market for a vehicle.
