Good product for the most part
1 of 1 found this helpful For the most part, the translator is awesome. The service from the seller, however, was lacking. I tried multiple times to get a hold of them via email as one of the brakes would not engage and I had a problem adjusting it. I finally had to give up and paid a local medical supply to adjust it for me. I couldn’t wait for the email that finally came days later telling me someone would contact me shortly, which never happened.
Other than having to pay for the brake adjustment myself, I’m fairly please with the translator and it was much cheaper from ebay than from medical supplies. I no longer have to try to fit both a walker and a wheelchair in the car so my husband can walk when he wants and still have the wheelchair available when necessary. It isn’t as easy to maneuver as a larger wheeled wheel chair, but the convenience and light weight make up for that. It doesn’t like uneven surfaces, but is manageable by pulling it backwards over them.
As other people mentioned, the back could flip and adjust a little smoother, but it will push into place with light force. Folding and unfolding it is super easy and it’s very compact and lightweight. The center of gravity is lower than a traditional walker and MUCH safer than pushing someone backwards in a rollator walker when they cannot walk (from experience, DO NOT do it, even in an emergency).
If you have someone who needs both a walker and wheelchair, this is a MUST BUY and the best one on the market I found.
