Caution when torquing down screws
The tuning machines are great. Smooth and nice. The screws which secure the machines down however, are made of a cheap alloy, and nearly every one stripped while I was torquing them down. Exercise caution, and make sure you drill properly first!

Astounding value
What you receive for the price is absolutely astounding. If you’ve already invested in a quality turntable, stylus, stereo, and speakers, this pre amp is an excellent choice for upgrading your phono stage from that cheap one. The dynamics are wide open. Fat 350hz punch, solid low end over all. The 2khz range sparkles and really adds clarity. Does Even with the cheap Chinese tubes, the detail and clarity improvement over a value priced phono stage is impressive to say the least. Throw in those NOS 12ax7s you’ve been hoarding and now you’re really on to something special. Come on seriously, why are you still reading!? You need to be listening to your 1970s UK pressing of Sgt. Pepper with something nice.
