Good deal for the money
In a world where you can spend $30 for a single, slightly larger Jorgensen clamp (the tool these clamps are modeled after) $40 for a set of six seems like a smoking hot deal.
But, of course, there are some tradeoffs. The Jorgensens are made of fine-grained, clear seasoned maple. The wood species for these guys is not available, but I'm guessing it's rubberwood. Rubberwood is a hardwood, but not a particularly hard one. There were knots in two of the clamps I received. Not too big or in really bad places. but still not clear wood. Aside from the knots, the overall quality looks to be OK.
The size is unusual. At 7" it's sort of between the 'normal' Jorgensen sizes. Maybe that's a plus? I'm using all six clamps on a project today and they seem to be performing just fine

Solid little knife
2 of 2 found this helpful The spring is stiff enough that it's probably fair to call this a semi-assisted knife. You can manage to open it with one hand but it takes some fairly serious finger pressure to pop it open. There is no wobble in the blade when open and the lock snaps into place reliably. The pocket clip is handy and works well. The overall impression is sturdiness, but at this price you're not getting the highest quality steel so I expect to have a bit of a chore keeping it sharp. Seems like a very good deal for the money.
