Great item But NOT a Straight Replacement As Advised
I was told the item fitted a Sunbeam Alpine Series V by the Retailer and also by Powerlite.When the item arrived it did not fit as a direct replacement.Allen screws had yo be undone .An Aluminium plate had to be drilled with new holes ( fairly precise) and all in all it was a tight fit. if we had bolted straight on the steering would have hit the live wire.Wire had to be rerun to make best use of the new solenoid.
Retailer - still waiting for a call back.
Powerlite to be fair fantastic help ( thanks Julian) but unless you are " clever " with tools you are in for a big surprise with this item.
Go for the slimline Hi Torque starter - more expensive but will save you hours in time!,
