neat toy
This is a pretty well made item. Our cat enjoys it as long as we don't overuse it and take a break from it for a day or two every so often. It's fun to watch her attack it and the several speeds is a good feature. The random setting is great. It does go through batteries every few days, depending on use though, so have rechargeables or a good supply.

Very good watch
This is a really good watch. I like the vibration alarm, as I can't hear most others I've had. A very bright light also. It's sort of a mini G-Shock. A bit large for my taste as I usually wear the Forester, but very comfortable.

Terrific book on dirt
If you are interested in dirt, start with this book. A terrific overview of qualities and surprises contained within this vastly abused, neglected, and crucial substance. Get it and get informed.
