Almost all his best songs
A brilliant compilation of Billy Bragg's early recorded work. Every song is a diamond. Even the songs which seem to apply specifically to the years in which the were written are still absolutely relevant today. His songs are brimming with rage and humour, with a touch of melancholy thrown in. But to quote Alan Davies, Billy's greatest quality is his sincerity.
