Excellent product, increasing the effective length of my 40-150 Pro to 600. Unfortunately it loses 2 stops so max aperture is now 5.6. That lens has no image stabilisation but 600 is not too difficult to hand hold if you are careful and watch the shutter speed. Image quality is very good.
The Ebay/SRS sale price made it a bargain compared to the other option of buying a 100-400 or the 300 Pro. I now have a 2 lens set up with 12-40 and 40-150/80-300. I have kept the extender on the lens and will only take it off when a shorter range is required. I use it for landscapes, wildlife and hopefully airshows in the future again.
