so far it works like it should!

As said by others... the mounting studs included are too long . If you can get the factory studs out of your broken mirror... use them. They fit way better and have an integral washer that acts as a "stop" so the studs don't get threaded into the mirror mounting holes too far. I ended up having to cut the factory mounting studs out of my broken mirror. The suds are steel and the threaded holes in the mirror are aluminum. The dissimilar metals react with each other pretty much welding the factory studs in.
