Good way to extend the life of old desktop, good CPU in its day
Installing this processor doubled my desktop's PassMark score and reduced CPU heat dissipation by a third compared to the Pentium D 805. With the cost below $35 it made sense for me to extend the life of the old desktop rather than throwing it away since it had a low end video board and 4 GB RAM in it already. The BIOS automatically accepted the processor and the mechanical installation is straightforward. There is lots of guidance on the net for the procedure. Chose the E4500 because it was the fastest clock CPU that would work in my motherboard.

Best product, better price
Samsung branded product with an attractive price compared to the big box office stores. Delivered on time as promised.

Inexpensive solution
D cells are expensive and AA cells are cheap and readily available. (sometimes name brand cells, are under $5 for 30 cells.) These units worked in my flash. I rarely use the flash so fresh AA are better than old D's.
