OK for the price

These are about the cheapest fountain pens you can buy and most of them work. Nib quality varies. At least one had a partially clogged feed and the trim rings between the body and section fell off a number of these. The triangular section can be quite uncomfortable for some users. I use them to try different inks. Recommended mainly for the price.

Great for travel!

I love the Selphys but beginners need to know they run only on real Canon "ink" cartridges and Selphy-specific paper. You can download a driver and some software from Canon's website. I recommend EZ Photo Print which you have to get for the CP510 but it works with this. Disadvantages of this model are a tiny LCD and no option to use with a battery, but you can often find these for a small fraction of the price of the current model. You will also need the paper tray and AC adapter for this to work.

best of the so-so

I own at least four other such gadgets and this works the best of the lot though too many drives are not recognized. The design is clever for getting three drives into minimal space but it is so compact that things get awfully crowded. The little power cable is particularly hard to attach because of this and it likes to pop out of the adapter.
