Good mitten/glove for hunting or ice fishing
These are not the first pair of combo mitten / fingerless gloves that I have bought, but I lost my last pair so needed a replacement. These do the job. The thumb opening is pretty worthless and would be better to just omit. The magnetic holder when you fold back the mitten flap is much better than velcro fasteners. The mittens are reasonably warm when used as mittens. My last pair had a pouch where I could put a hot hands heat pad, but you could basically still use these with these mittens. The fleece is indeed water resistant and they kept my hands dry and warm while hunting in wet conditions.
