Great value
Easy to install. Nice sound and visual effects. My only knock is the using the phone over Bluetooth. The mic is not very good. Overall a good, low priced stereo. This is the 2nd one I bought.

Seems like a good kit to start with.
4 of 4 found this helpful Overall it seems like a good kit. I agree with other reviews to not put too much into it as far as time and money. It's a $100 ish dollar kit that has been a fun project and I am making it my own.
It is an Open Box so I think it may be a return or reject item. There are some flaws in the glue and bindings but on mine it was minor. I saw other pictures that look bad but I must have received a good one.
The hardware is on the cheap side but all the parts are there so that's a plus.
I am almost finished with several coats of Tru-Oil and it looks nice. Getting ready to put on a few decals and put the hardware on.
I wanted to move up to a better mandolin but wasn't ready to spend a lot of money. Hopefully this sounds as good as it looks.
If this one sounds good I may look for a ukulele kit.
