Much clearer, crisper!
2 of 2 found this helpful The specs were not that much higher than my old receiver, but the performance sure was!! Some of the noisier parts of movies that are hard to pick out what is being said or happening were much more ineligible! I haven't used all the setup procedures, like LAN attachment or using the microphone to balance the 5.1 speakers I am using, but when I get time I will!
The only thing I was surprised at, was the large amount of heat this unit puts out by the end of a movie! My old system, with 89 watts per channel, I had stacked on top of a shelf touching each other in an open bookcase. The direct TV (H2O) receiver that use to sit on top of the old amplifier, always put out so much heat. On the H2O unit I have in a TV cabinet, I put a fan on it! But in this case,even in the open bookcase, I am glad there is almost 4 inches between the Onkyo and the Direct TV receiver.

looks as good as the original
purchased supply s before they all disappear. haven't needed them yet, but they look identical to the originals, a good deal on a backup!

I can't belive I found one!!!
This thing is about as small of a part as I have EVER purchased! I have a 42 year old hand made German Phonograph turn table from a company that is long out of business, and the turntable would not function without this friction device! And I found it first try! AMAZING and a perfect fit!!!
