Not for me.
2 of 2 found this helpful It certainly is loud enough. It brings in some fm stations clearly but others in the same part of the band were weak. am reception poor. I had no use for the sw feature and did not use it. I think this maybe a reasonable choice for someone who lives in a metropolitan area but I am in a rural, somewhat remote area. Tuning was somewhat problematic as the fm band is at the topof the dal and I had to tip the radio to have a good view of it, but the position of the stations was not accurate anyway. I also noticed band creep once I did tune to a station I wanted.
I have returned it and bought another brand which cost a little more but works better for my needs.
