It is fun
Makes the game all that much more enjoyable. one of the rules in the game "Mexican Train" is that you have to call out or tap your last domino when you are down to one. we use the sound effect on this toy to make the announcement.

Almost as good as the real thing.
I was hesitant at first about buying this because it was more than twice the price of the regular models. I'm glad i went through with it now in hind sight. It was a fun build, it is larger and is colorized like it is in its pictures.
Even though I've had great success building other metal earth models in the past using small size needle nose pliers, this model came with a high quality set of tweezers. This was a surprise to me, and I initially thought I wouldn't use them. But there were some instances when even my needle nose pliers couldn't reach onto some tight places, the included tweezers did. This was a nice addition and i'm glad they were included. I have no regrets buying this model.
Unlike other Metal Earth ship models, the display base is not attached to the ship, so i've included a picture of the bottom so you can see the details, I've also shown a side by side of the regular model so you can see the difference in size.

Worth the $$
1 of 1 found this helpful One of the biggest drawbacks to the Tamiya Ta01 & Ta02 chassis is the sloppy steering linkage. I have these aluminum ball bearing steering linkages on all of my Tamiya cars and it's a definite improvement. I also suggest getting some axle shims to take up the slop in the axles. These two upgrades will make your Tamiya handle more precise and run like a whole different car.
