Moon Handbooks Are The Best!

I get one of these books for almost every place I visit. This one discusses all the popular spots, but it also provides details on out-of-the-way places. I have never been disappointed yet! One caution: be sure to check the publication date; information does change over time (hotels, restaurants, road conditions, etc.)

Great little pouch!

I got this to carry my Canon 1.4x extender (for a 2x extender you'd need the medium size). It's a snug fit, but takes up less room than a larger pouch would. It's not as bulky as most other padded lens pouches but still provides good protection. The camo pattern makes it easy to see in my camera bag.

An excellent resource for anyone wanting to photograph some of the most spectacular places in the Southwest. It includes detailed driving and hiking directions to photo sites, the best seasons and times of day to photograph those sites, and lots of great photos. I now have all 3 volumes.
