Ringo Starr-I Wanna Be Santa Claus
Songs are really great. Obviously its Ringo so the drums are AWESOME but LITTLE DRUMMER BOY is incredible drumming. Sounds like son of BACK OFF BOOGALOO.

STONED-THE ORIGINAL ROLLING STONE-
1 of 1 found this helpful A movie about Brian Jones of the Rolling Stones is terribly overdue. As the movie says, WITHOUT BRIAN JONES, THERE WOULD BE NO ROLLING STONES. Brian was the true musician. He could pick up any instrument and play it fluently within 20 minutes. When Mick and Keith met Brian they were in awe of his lifestyle and especially his slide guitar and harmonica playing. Vastly underrated and tragically forgotten over the years with the help of Mick and Keith, most casual fans think Ron Wood is an original member.
While the movie doesnt put enough into his musical talent due to time restraints as the bulk of the movie deals with the last weeks of his life and his relationship with the love of his life Anita Pallenburg and his builder and eventual admitted killer Frank Thorogood(he confessed to Stones Road Manager and Brian Jones/Thorogood friend Tom Keylock.
High marks to the Director for the incredible accuracy of Brian's and The Stones lives in their heyday and to actor Leo Gregory for a chillingly real performance. He had Brian's mannerisms, voice, walk, etc. so down that I felt for 90 minutes Brian was with us for a visit.
If you buy the DVD hoping for great Brian/Stones music thank Mick and Keith for not making any of their songbook available as they are still seemingly intimidated by the man who made their music come to life with his instrumental genius and his incredibly powerful slide guitar and harmonica playing.. All we get are NOT FADE AWAY(Buddy Holly, and TIME IS ON MY SIDE(Nanker Phelge, which means written by all of the Stones)Other great 60's classics are nicely interwoven into the movie as a good overall soundtrack.
For true Rolling Stones fans and especially for those who sadly don't know or remember Brian Jones or those who didn't know Thorogood later confessed to his murder buy STONED.
