TOO TECHNICAL
Little hobbyist information. Too many obscure types of Bettas. IF you want to go down the rabbit hole of technical genetics & science instead of practical day to day info about Bettas as pets, you might find it useful.

GET THIS BOOK
A great all-in-one resource for learning about orchids and how to care for them. Loads of photos for I.D. Easy to use, full of concise & useful information. Even if you don't have orchids it's a delight to view the pages full of pictures.

BEST EASY HOW-TO for DISCUS
Most Discus information makes it sound like you have to be an expert to keep these fish. Not true! This book tells you all you need to know in a very easy to read & understand book. All kind of great information for aquarium keeping in general but geared specifically for the needs of Discus. This is the original 1991 book, there's an updated version (2005) with even more color photos.
