A handy replacement
Well worth having if your consumer unit won't take the later design. It saves obtaining & paying for cartridges but unfortunately doesn't have a test facility.

Reliable starting
Exide have a long pedigree and although this is early days (four months) I haven't had any concerns about this battery. It has a higher specification than others in it's class and the 4 year guarantee gives peace of mind. The only possible detraction from the ideal is that if it does give trouble during this period I would not only have the bother of the return but I would have the carriage to pay also!

Well worth considering.
Very good service & value, although the chinese manufacturer could improve their design quality as the arm bolts needed to be longer & the seat bolts required (integral) washers, also the arm bolt recesses were so deep that the 'alum' key could not be used in the best leverage position.
