Really good insightful book!!!
Hard to get much closer to the man himself unless you saw his comedy routine or knew him personally his personality comes through even in just a recanting of his life.

Interesting and idiosyncratic
John Fahey has a wide reaching mythology for guitar players, these 2 different sets nearly 30 years apart show 2 different but similar personalities of the same man. His performance in 1969 is a must for an early fans, and his 1996 performance is definitely more relaxed and showcases most of his well known pieces. Check it out if you’re a Fahey fan or just a fan of blues and classical guitar playing.
