Probably made in the same factory as the name brand stuff
Cyclists are a funny bunch. They have a magical belief system in name brands and weight. We ride bicycles, not pilot the space shuttle. The generic brake cable I bought works every bit as good as the jagwire I have in my shop. No difference in braking performance. The only thing that is different is that it cost me half of what the expensive stuff costs. Go buy it and do something useful with the extra ten bucks in your pocket.

Excellent performer for half the money
1 of 1 found this helpful I use Swiss-Stop pads. They work great but leave some things lacking in the wet. I remember these from years back and decided to give them a try. They are excellent brakes. They work nearly equally as well in the dry and wet conditions of Florida. And it pours here. They cost half of what the "pro" Swiss Stop pads cost and I can honestly say perform significantly better. I will buy more in the future.

If you want to run over landmines and not flat out, these are your tires
These are nearly bullet proof tires. I have ridden the brand for decades and have never once been let down. They are common on bikes in Europe and I cannot see why that shouldn't be the case here. They might be a bit heavier, but they grip extremely well. And the seconds I might loose in a long race don't hold up to the 3 minutes (minimum) it takes for me to change out a tube. I only get 2000 miles out of them, so I wouldn't buy the 6000 mile hype unless you weigh 110 pounds and ride only on wooden tracks. Otherwise I can't recommend them more.
