Horslips-Horslips - The Tain (Bonus Tracks Version) CD NEW

Great Album, even years later

I will be honest, I am Irish and the music speaks to my childhood, but even years later, the story of the Tain speaks through the music, and the journey we take is a delight. The bonus track is a nice little live compendium, and all round the tunes endure better than much prog rock has.

Cracking play, but maybe not for everyone

I had seen the play 10 or more years ago band recalled it being compelling. The script totally lives up to that. I would say that for some people this will all feel rather distasteful, but even the person I discussed with it who said she never wanted to see it, or read it again agreed it was a great discussion generator.
