Interesting Detail
1 of 1 found this helpful These are tiny 1/35 representations of LED spot lights that you'd see on any work/ recreational/ or military vehicle. Molded in tan plastic with a separate sprue of clear lenses. Bulbs are even molded on the inside of what represents the reflector. There are also tiny mounting brackets. My plan of attack is to paint the reflector in Model Master Chrome enamel, a semi-gloss black back/ body, and attach the lens with Testors clear part cement. Should be very eye catching and effective once mounted. Recommended. 👻

Great Value- Fun Skill Building
1 of 1 found this helpful Tamiya's little Japanese tank is an old mold that holds up well even by today's standards. The fit is great, the tracks take tamiya paints well and fit properly, there are many painting and decal options, and last but not least, one full figure of a commander and a half figure to man the hull MG and radio(?). There's a neat radiator under a panel on the engine deck, I left the panel loose to be able to pop it off to have a look. It's a nice little size too, just a bit bigger than a Stuart (or British "Honey").
The only reason that I didn't give it four stars is that the kit's stanchions above the track are empty so they need to be filled in with some sheet plastic to avoid the Tamiya "see thru". If this doesn't bother you, you could skip that.
Overall a great little kit and something different to display. I had a lot of fun building, painting, and weathering it. Recommended.

Tremendous Value for Modelers & Enthusiasts
I hesitated to buy this book at first because it was so cheap and I couldn't really tell if it was any good. Well, it's great! There are 128 pages full of excellent color photos and text. A lot of the content in this book covers the era of the three-color lizard scheme, a personal favourite of mine.
Overall I found this title chock full of USMC helo eye-candy. At a price that's less than a cup of coffee, there's literally no reason not to pick up a copy. Highly recommended.
