Sound build quality but poor performance

Unreliable in operation - does not always turn on & off as set.
Poor LCD screen - if the 13A socket is at 450mm high (standard), the angle of the LCD screen does not allow the settings to be viewed without bending low and depending on background lighting, with a torch!
The instructions for programming a switching cycle through midnight are not clear as they use terms such as 'last period' (does this mean the last switching setting 1, 2 or 3?) and 'start the next days on period' inferring it is a 7 days timer rather than 24 hour unit. These terms are not used elsewhere in the instructions. I could not get programming through midnight to work.
