Danger Sidekick without data plan
I wanted a phone with a full keyboard so I didn't have to try to type text messages with the phone pad. I don't have a data plan, so didn't care about email or web. Phone is pretty cool, makes lots of noises, works well as a phone. Didn't realize that microsoft now owns Danger, and that they are no longer making apps for it, but not a big deal to me. Never seen a phone with so many buttons, still haven't figured out what all of them do! Trackball is cool, since this is not a touchscreen. I'm using it on T-mobile with pay-as-you go, always asks about connecting to data, just bypass and works fine. Doesn't matter that phone is unlocked.

Great solution for a student.
My oldest child needed a computer to use for school work, needed Microsoft Word, excel, etc. - they are included. This is the most economical solution and it works great. I was worried about the touch keyboard but it functions just fine. Touch screen works great, love the kick stand. I wouldn't recommend this version for day to day office work - buy the Pro or Pro2.
