The pinnacle of noiseless pickups
i'm a strat guy first and foremost and put a set of these in my strat about a year ago. i've always been a big proponent of Fralin single coils but i finally had enough of the noise that occurs when you start ramping up the gain. The fluence pickups sound remarkably close to the fralins but without the noise and with the added feature of a second voicing. cutting to the chase, i love these things. a year later when i heard about the greg koch tele set, and still very happy with them in my strat, i decided to see what they could do for my tele. no disappointments. clean and punchy, no noise, 2 voices, and volume and tone knobs with great tapers. also retains the high end really well when you roll the volume knob. check out some of the greg koch demos on youtube if you have any doubts. larry fishman hit it out of the park with the Fluence stuff. it's no surprise that so many are jumping on the bandwagon. i'm sold!
