Does the job Spot On!
As good as it gets when using an ANTEX soldering iron. The large spring rotates into position and volia! Ready to go... I don't think the design has changed in 30 years! Still good...

Just doesn't do the job I thought it would!
1 of 2 found this helpful I was looking for a better method of bleeding my brake system on my car. I heard of the "MityVac" through a mechanic.
I've had problems before with the two-people method with one on the brake and the other on the calliper end yelling "on-off".
Audi brakes are notorious with air ingress and a soft brake pedal AFTER you've bled them, and also the potential to ruin the master cylinder.
On it's arrival, I read the instruction manual, applied the unit, and bugger all! In fact, you risk air escaping IN to the line rather than sucking it out!
There is simply not enough vacuum to bleed the brake fluid through. Followed the instructions through and through, still the same result.
I'm sure in the right hands this would work straight away.
The build is nice quality with a selection of hose and attachments, and the seller sent straight away.
As for value, it is a solid device with all the bits so that means that you can do a variety of applications requiring vacuum and not brake bleeding.
I ran out of time pissing about with it, so I resorted to the old fashioned 2-persons method.
I think it was a waste of £40. But until I find an "old trick" with this unit that does the job, I won't change my mind.
Just being honest, nothing against the seller.

Quality Oil in a bottle
- WHAL clipper oil -
Does exactly what it says on the tin! Nice quality packaging, the oil seemingly is the right viscosity for the cutting blades [light]. Nice handy size.
