what's not to like?

It just works. Holds a charge real well. Does a fine job with daily use, good with a 2 day beard and after that I'll use a razor but really, much better than I expected. I am 58 and this is the first electric razor I've used since the 70's and that didn't go well. I've had this for 2 weeks and not needed a re-charge yet (but soon I'd guess) nice feature set and it seems like it will last. I'm pretty picky and I do my research as well and al in all, I'm very pleased with this. I think with an item like this there are a ton of factors that can affect overall results so YMMV, but for me - It just works.

Buy it - You won't be sorry.

If you're looking for an auto wah or filter envelope/follower - look no further. This unit does a great job in a "boss" footprint. Very solid build quality and very organic sound. Lots of different sound possibilities. The specs speak for themselves - what I can add is that it's very easy to get a usable sound right out of the box. I haven't needed to refer to the manual, and for, me, that's the sign of a good unit. A bit on the expensive - but worth it.

M-Audio Nova - does the job

I am not a pro but I do know what sounds good. This mic, in my opinion is pretty versatile. It performs well for vocals and instruments. I wouldn't use it for bass amps but for guitar amp - it's pretty good. All around, it's pretty darn solid (especially for the price). I use 2 of them as room mikes (one mounted high and one low) and they really fill in the sound. If you're looking to start off with a large diaphragm mike that can do a lot of things well - get one of these. It isn't "great" at anything, but it's pretty good at lots of things. The build quality is good, the clip is lame. With a decent preamp and a little board/mix tweaking, you can get very nice vocal results. I use no effects procesing for guitar amps - and this mike seems to deliver what I like soundwise. I don't use it for drums but I think I can safely safe it would perform pretty well as an overhead in front of the set. All in all, for the money, it may be the BEST value in a microphone you can get. That's why I have 2. I recommend this for general purpose use. Good, but not great at just about anything you can throw at it. Just sayin' - Hope it helps.
