A must have.

This is an amazing resource for those working with Adolescents- especially in a clinical setting. This helps the Adolescent reflect on their use and consequences. This is something that can be used with both mandated and voluntary clients. I have yet to find a better workbook for adolescent's. For those of you in the counseling field - this is evidenced based- best practice. Recognized by both National Registry of Evidence-based Programs and Practices (NREPP) and the National Institute of Drug Abuse. why I bought it? Started working in a chemical dependency clinic that specialized in Adolescent addiction. What did I like? Great tool to help guide clinical interventions. What did I dislike? Nothing. How does this compare to others? I have yet to find a better workbook for adolescents.

about this book

the author does repeat himself a lot but the information does get you thinking about the social system of our society. you will learn that white males are privileged and have more opportunities then anyone else in our society. i dont agree with everything the author covered but he had a lot of good studies to back up his statements. good for people in psy. soc. or soc. work
