Laguna 1216 lathe stand
Very beefy heavy gauge steel, with a high grade thick coating of what looks to be powder coating but I may be wrong on the coating but its very nice and textured. I had a couple holes that didn't align well but a little file work and the assembly was complete. One other issue that I saw that I didn't care for was the tilted tool holder as the lathe tools are set at a weird angle or they fall through because the hole size is to large. Other than the tool holder I recommend getting this stand if you are unable to build one to your liking.

Baldor motors are top notch quality, and thats a fact.
I needed an electric motor for my Parks planer, and found this L1405 which was 1/2 hp more than what I already had. Once I received the motor I was able to install it without a problem, and 1st startup powered the planer perfectly. This Baldor L1405 is a very heavy electric motor weighing in at over 60 pounds, the fit and finish is very nice, and is built to stand the test of time.
