A shame when an expensive OEM product isnt built correctly.
In order to get the reverse lights to fit into the taillamp, I had to take a Dremel tool and notch out the openings on a brand new product that is OEM quality. It should have been as easy as removing 2-10MM bolts, sliding the fixture out, removing the lamp sockets and inserting them into the new tail lamp fixture and placing the new bolts in the body. It didnt work that way.
I had to put a deburring tool in my Dremel and grind out plastic to make it fit.
It wasnt a terribly difficult job, but it should have been correct.
None of this was the dealer's fault.
