Good sound, great treble, good midrange!

When I first dropped these into my dash to replace the factory tweeters in the "premium" Alpine system that came with my 2017 RAM 1500 Limited, they were way too "bright" - the treble was ear piercing and hurt, even at lower volumes. I also experienced troubling tinnitus (ringing in my ears) after listening for even a short time. I thought I was going to have to return them, but I still had the door speakers that I needed to replace as well. Once I did, everything jelled and the treble is perfect (especially after a little tweaking with an equalizer). These speakers are clear, and have good mid-range response as well. The bass in my system, is great (better in fact) too, and I don't have to crank it up to get good "thump". Overall, these are a lot better than the factory ones. If you're going to do a speaker replacement, plan on having to replace all of them.

Works exactly as it should - no configuration was required. Fits in Dell PowerEdge r710 (replaced a PERC700) PCI Slot. No issues with installation or use.
