Info Packed
The complete manual for older Macs. I have used it to develop on my Mac Plus. It is compatible with Mac 128, 512, Plus, SE, and has context for colour Mac IIs. Phenomenal resource. Quite happy with it.

C64 Owners Still Running or Retro-fans Going Nostalgic will Appreciate this programming book
It's a classic with great information about C64 graphics modes, and how to access and use them. Some modes, such as Hi-Res Bitmap mode, are not trivial to make use of but the author addresses each mode indepedently with examples. The book contains many program listings for sprite editing and graphics manipulation, along with full explanations. Written in an era of wonder and exploration, this book is accessible yet detailed and acquires a mantle of quality only computer books from the 80's could capture. Downside of course is no associated media (CD) nor web site to find book assets; you've got to go old school and type in the programs yourself.

Rules for not Breaking the Game
This book offers an excellent companion to the DMG for tweaking campaigns consisting of Uber-level parties so that the game doesn't break.
Can be used as a rules expansion, or perhaps more appropriately as idea fodder. Well written and comprehensive, dates to first edition and is a great addition to any D&D library.
