Superior story-telling, acting and scenery that complements Dances With Wolves.
Great Western and the longest and best shootout scene ever filmed. Scenery was gorgeous and shows the unspoiled West that is part of our heritage. Robert Duvall shines as Boss; Annette Bening is tender, tough and her own woman, a rare, honest portrayal of how Women of the West survived and thrived. This film provides one of the very best complement of character actors ever assembled. A must see film. Mr. Kostner does it again!

Worth the price to learn our history!
Loved this mini series. Top notch acting in a great story of how Americans settled in Ohio when it was still a dangerous frontier. Please note that subtitles are unfortunately not available.
