Great EDC Gear
Great compact firestarter to have as an EDC. I have it on my key chain. The aluminium casing protects the ferro rod from corrosion and being damaged. In a survival or in an emergency situation, you will always be ready.

Great tinder maker
2 of 2 found this helpful The Smith's Natural Tinder Maker is an amazing lightweight gear. It will create a fine tinder from dry wood that will take a spark easily. I have both the Gerber Bear Grylls tinderbox and now the Smith's Natural Tinder Maker. I would rather carry with me The Smith's Natural Tinder Maker because it's smaller, lightweight, and for the Ferro Rod as fire starter. But, both are amazing piece of gears. Never leave home without it.
